Workshops
Workshops are a wonderful way to jumpstart your creative process. In a weekend workshop you will have uninterrupted time to experiment with new materials and methods in a supportive and fun environment. The classes are small, the energy is high, and making work with your hands is rewarding. Join us for art making, creative dialogue and community in my Boston studio. All levels welcome.

Mixed Media & Collage – all levels
Beginning Relief Printmaking – all levels, especially for first time printmakers
Intermediate Relief Printmaking – all levels, especially returning students and experienced printmakers
Relief Printmaking Workshops
Water-soluble inks and polystyrene plates are a non-toxic way to create one of a kind monoprints without a press. Demonstrations include making the plates, ink roll-up and application, and transferring the image to paper by hand. We build complex and textured images through layering multiple plates and experimenting with the qualities of transparent and opaque inks. Clean up with soap and water.

Mixed media & comtemporary collage workshop
A collaborative environment to develop visual ideas by combining paper, paint, text and found materials. We work quickly and intuitively as we explore ways to build an image and express an idea. Demonstrations include using acrylic paint, creating raw materials and using various glues to collage papers and found materials. Projects include a series of works on paper, handmade books and/or collaborations.
